Wet Snow
Problem #1 Comments
There were lots (> 5-6) point release wet slides that were a least a day old. While this problem is seems to be getting better, the new snow was still willing to move or sun affected slopes. Steep slopes and near cliffs/rocks was much worse. We performed a ECT and CT at 6700' and 8600' with no results. While not avalanche related, an expert skier in our group had an unpleasant fall with the variable snow(breakable crust) an contributing factor.
