The avalanche danger is generally LOW. Isolated areas remain where a person could trigger an old hard wind slab, or deeper persistent slab avalanche failing on weak, sugary snow near the ground. Areas where you might encounter these problems are on steep, upper elevation slopes that face the north half of the compass, or in areas that have been wind loaded such as the lee sides of ridge crests and terrain features like steep gully walls.

Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 18. West southwest wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible.

Snow likely. Patchy blowing snow. Cloudy, with a high near 24. Breezy, with a west southwest wind 15 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
