Problem #1 Comments

In this particular area, I'd only be worried about wind slabs on isolated slopes in the highest elevations (NW-E). The wind had its way with most moveable snow now a thing of the past.

Avalanche Problem #2
Problem
Persistent Weak Layer

Problem #2 Comments

A thick, solid knife crust is widespread and caps the older snow. There are facets on either side of the crust but the major concern is the NSF's developing on the top. The crust is incredibly hard and it seems like it has locked things up below. It would take a MASSIVE FORCE to get a failure at the ground layer facets or other small weak layers within the older snow. Persistent slabs could be an issue in repeater paths.
