Went and skied today in Strawberry area at Snowbasin. The sun decided to come out made for a beautiful morning with a little wind by Ogden standards. Went up to look at what happened with the wind event yesterday and last night. While I was checking out the wind damage I decided to look into our easterly High elevation east aspect terrain. What I found was a very cohesive snowpack. ECTX x 2 while in the pit. Not much snow was blowing around today. You might be able to find some very stiff wind slabs tomorrow. There was not much left for snow to transport today. I think the biggest treat right now is either persistent slab issue which is hard to find or an old wind slab.
