Red Flags Comments
All remains quiet. Couple shots in unskied terrain produced nothing more than surface snow. Biggest thing for a snow nerd now is to watch the facets grow. Snow surface on sheltered north facing getting really weak, with easily triggered sluffs in steep northerly terrain. Surface hoar up to 3mm. Will be interesting to see if Saturday's light snow will preserve any of it.
Comments

Profile in unskied northerly terrain showed the two weakest layers of concern to be the graupel layer from last week, and some preserved nsf from the dry spell before that. However no real concerning results in stability tests on either layer.

Tried to get a pic of the surface hoar, not very good results, but that's what's out there.
