Problem #1 Comments

Wind slabs up high. Yesterday's west winds after the frontal passage were loading east facing slopes and today's south winds were loading north, although I wasn't finding much more than soft shallow slabs.

Wet loose activity will be another thing to watch if the sun comes out and stays out.

Comments

CT results and faceted grains that pit tests failed on. My ECT propagated across the column on this layer.

Wind textured storm snow and soft, shallow upper elevation wind slab.

It's probably worth carrying some kind of saw on your sled, be it a hand saw or a chain saw, as there are a lot of trees down.
