Forecast for the Skyline Area Mountains

The majority of the terrain along the Skyline has a LOW avalanche danger today. A MODERATE avalanche danger exists in the higher elevation northwest through southeast facing slopes approaching 40 degrees in steepness. New snow combined with strong southwest wind today will most likely form fresh sensitive drifts in that terrain. Human triggered avalanches are possible.
