Forecast for the Logan Area Mountains
Monday morning, January 25, 2016
CONSIDERABLE (Level 3): The snow continues to slowly stabilize in the backcountry, but dangerous avalanche conditions still exist in some areas. Careful snowpack evaluation, cautious routefinding, and conservative decision-making will be essential again today. Large and dangerous triggered avalanches are possible on upper and mid elevation slopes steeper than about 30 degrees. Avalanches could be triggered remotely, from a distance, or even below!
