Problem #1 Comments

The wind was wreaking havoc on the Ogden Mountains over the past couple of days. The wind has scoured away any remaining good snow. All north- east aspects above 7500 feet had significant wind slab development.

Avalanche Problem #2
Problem
Persistent Weak Layer
Problem #2 Comments

This is a bit stubborn. There are a couple of different layers of significance, but I think our major concerns are still going to be our basal facets. Our snow pack is healing, over the past couple of weeks of digging pits in the same zone have had progressively stronger bonds forming. 2 weeks ago we were still looking at fist at the bottom and today revealed 1F rounding facets.
