Weather and Snow

3 to 5 inches of new snow fell overnight and more is on it's way. There is very little wind with this storm so far. The wind is light and variable right now but should increase as the day goes on. It looks like the current storm will add enough new snow to cause this old weak snow to fail and produce avalanches.

Description

All of the snow from November has become very weak, especially in the higher terrain. It will not be able to support much new snow before it collapses and causes avalanches.
