La Sal Mountains
Upper elevation, dry snow conditions were affected a little by Friday's NE winds, but soft, settled snow can still be found up there. All things considered, riding and skiing remains quite good. All sun exposed slopes are crusted over but will soften as the day progresses. Winds are virtually non-existent this morning. Overnight lows hovered right around freezing or just below on Pre Laurel Peak and at the Geyser Pass Trailhead, with a temp inversion in Gold Basin where it is currently 24 degrees. All in all, I think we've had a decent re-freeze with clear skies overnight and supportable corn surfaces will be found on slopes facing S-W. It is going to get warm fast today however with temps at 10,000' rising to near 50 degrees.
Remarkably good, dry snow conditions can still be found at upper elevations.
