Soft refaceted snow at surface on shady and sheltered slopes, crust on all south through west exposures, wide spread surface hoar on all aspects. 70 cm total snow depth. Very thin weak layer at 42cm, possibly buried surface hoar. Weak layer collapses with moderate stress but does not propagate.
