Snow on Cardiac Ridge had settled out to about a foot of light density snow, heating during the day thickened it a bit by afternoon. Snow was getting a little damp on E facing by 1:00pm.

Comments

Went to Cardiac Ridge today hoping for visibility, which improved through out the day. Seems like the sensitive density inversion from yesterday is a thing of the past no signs of instability in the terrain covered. Did note a couple of decent sized soft slabs that pulled out yesterday off the top of the ridge. Only action today was sluffing in the steeper terrain. Some wet activity also observed, but mainly just a few point releases and some roller balls. Photos

Sluffing off the top of Cardiac Ridge

Decent sized crown from a soft slab pulling out off the Top of the ridge about a 12 inch deep crown.

Some minor wet activity on S facing in the afternoon.

Cloud deck this morning.
