Hard to say if the wind was light or brisk. Dependant on when you ask. Snow fall heavy at times... but an occasional sighting of a shadow as well. It is spring.

About 4" in the parking lot and 6" at the red pine/white pine junction. 12" in the boulder basin.

Snow from yesterday about 6" sitting on a fairly firm crust. About 7" of lighter snow on top of that.

Density change was only real issue spotted today.

There was plenty of new snow for the wind to blow around. And it did when it was blowing but was not constant below tree line. Minor cracking but only in new snow. I was able to get sluff on steeper terain to run full track but not step down into even the snow from yestereday.

Pit dug just below W.P. Lake.

Small pano of some point release on the south east facing and the wind action just below.

Would expect the danger tomorrow to be related to where one decides to ski and if the sun pops out.

It is March 27 or September 13th as far as the sun is concerned Wear your sun screen..
