Avalanche Problem #1
Problem
Wet Snow
Problem #1 Comments
Triggered several wet sluffs entraining all of Thursday's heavy new snow on mid elevation test slopes near the Green Gate. These were pretty short slopes and I can imagine fairly big piles of heavy debris with sluffs that run further on longer slopes.
Avalanche Problem #2
Problem
Persistent Weak Layer
Problem #2 Comments
Wind slab avalanches and large cornice falls are likely in drifted upper and mid elevation terrain.
Comments
Noticed evidence of recent wind related activity on the east face of Providence Peak. And easily triggered wet sluffs on mid elevation test slopes near the green gate in Providence Canyon
