This is from steam-mill today. Like you have in your report from yesterday. Strong west winds continued today. Small wind slab (test slope-steep roll)In photo 1 see ski-tip in lower right. Photo 2 - it didn't propagate far even though it was steep.

Cornices were fairly easy to kick off.

Was able to knock off a few wind slabs at the top (small test slopes)- they didn't go far (you can see from above about 12" deep=new snow). Also had to be fairly steep (>35). It was iffy enough I didn't ski off the peak to the northeast.
