observed avalanches below tree line on steep east face (between Folly and Noriega) ran through the trees. Skinning back up North Woods (far skiers left, more east facing) observed lots of whumps and collapsing resulting in cracks, one propagated 20 yards out jumping from tree to tree with a visible collapse dropping the surface 4 to six inches. Also lots of unusual natural "cracks" like mini schrunds possibly from creep or glide. Definite soft slab blocks in ski tracks, all below tree line
