Went up Mill D and headed over to Wilson Fork, with and exit out Millcreek. On the way to Wilson decided to ski the nipple east facing, not bad but a little punchy. Dropped into the Wilson Headwall north facing and dug a quick hole, snow pack was mostly faceted, with large grain facets at the bottom of the pack, and no slab present, total snow pack was 18 to 24 inches deep. pleasantly surprised with the skiing, was not punching through to the dirt as I have been in sheltered north facing terrain earlier this week. that being said the snow pack is quite weak in this area and will not support much load if it ever snows for real. Photos, large grain facets found at the bottom of the pack north facing, Wilson Headwall, somewhat punchy run down the nipple.
