Comments
Upon stopping on the cornice I was able to drop a small piece of cornice and also got a solid shooting crack from my ski out into the NE face of Scott peak. The entire top failed, about 300 feet across and slide down about 400 feet then after stopping a very small point release started and slid to the bottom. The snow varied in depth between 4 inches to at least a foot. The snow slid on the crust layer underneath. No other movement, whomping or cracking all day.
