Alright, everything being said right now is true. I just wanted to let anybody know who is heading out this week to be extra safe. I dropped my first turn into the Cirque today into and everything I was standing on fell apart and started moving. The snow was just over a ski-width wide that I had dropped into. Maybe a little bold of a line, but that is a different story. Wet, heavy, and dragging would be the best words I could use for it. Luckily rolled out before the exposure, but shook me enough to send me home with my tail between my legs. Had all my gear, but am not certain the guy that was nearest had anything. I have noticed a lot of people without gear skiing the BC of Snowbird this weekend. A little scary when stuff is acting like this.
Have a safe Spring!
