Comments
Paige was able to get a few photos of the natural wet activity in Beaver Canyon from the 14th and/or 15th of March. The avalanches likely started as point-releases of sluffs off the rocks above, but quickly propagated into wet slabs failing on faceted snow in the basal layers of the snowpack and gouging the saturated snow to the ground.
Of note is the activity in the first couple, where wet debris ran to within around 10 meters of Highway 89. These are on a mostly west facing slope at around 7400' in elevation.
