Winds have yet to surface since the storm has affected the La Sal Mountains. Very light density snow (4%) has fallen accumulating over 10" of powder in the past 48 hours. Southerly aspects have a supportable crust below treeline which is the skiing surface.

Storm snow sluffed on all aspects on slopes greater than 35 degrees. No slab avalanches observed....YET. Plenty of snow to transport with winds in the forecast will alter storm snow instabilities to wind slabs as the primary concern.
