Happy Easter. Under clear skies, temperatures dipped into the mid and upper 20's overnight.and winds remained light and variable at 10-15 mph. If you're out for turns.... a smooth, supportable crop of corn is ready to harvest on the eastern front with sunny slopes coming on right around 9:00. Temperatures are gonna be slightly warmer today, but west facing aspects should still offer supportable conditions into the early afternoon. On a sled you'll have to endure some molar rattling hard, old tracks, but a soft cushion of dense settled powder is still found on steep upper elevation north facing terrain. Either way, it'll be a beautiful day in the mountains!
March madness continues... the melt down is on and trailheads are feelin' the heat.
