Forecast for the Logan Area Mountains
Monday morning, December 21, 2015
HIGH (level 4): Very dangerous avalanche conditions exist on drifted slopes at upper and mid elevations in the backcountry. Large and destructive human triggered avalanches are likely on slopes steeper than about 30 degrees today, and natural avalanches will become more likely by evening with significant additional snowfall and intensifying west wind. Avoid travel in backcountry avalanche terrain, and stay off and out from under steep drifted slopes and obvious or historic avalanche paths.
