Region:
Mt Olympus
Location Name or Route:
Hades/Apollo Couloir (Mt. Olympus)
Elevation:
7000
Aspect:
Northwest
Depth:
unknown
Width:
20
Comments:

We did not examine the crown and could not see the crown. The debris was several feet deep. Apollo was pretty wind loaded as well and we turned around shortly after the y of the couloir. The wind slab was roughly a foot deep sitting on top of lower density powder. [Forecaster Comment: This slide is evidence of how winds have worked into low and mid elevation terrain. Thanks for reporting it.]
