Went up to Meadow Chutes early this morning and spotted some natural activity that probably occurred overnight. Besides the "Roll" (photo) the apron often used as an exit below the "Roll" had slid. Looked to be in the new overnight snow which came in right side up. Both these areas exceed 34 degrees. Our pit showed this overnight snow to be most reactive but not over sensitive or cohesive where we were (top of 1st tube). About 8"-10" of new. We watched slope angles and had no signs of instability up or down. Skied well. I suspect things will settle out pretty quickly. Still would hesitate to jump into anything big for a bit.

Comments

Photo is not great nor was the visibility. Sorry.
