What little snow exists in the Wasatch mountains is generally stable and the danger is Low.

Moisture is streaming in this morning ahead of what looks like a decent storm......for southern and central Utah. Winds are generally light and mountain temps are in the mid to upper twenties. The southerly and off aspects no doubt got another good refreeze last night. Riding conditions are best at the opened ski areas and would make an East coaster feel right at home. Don't forget to sharpen your edges. (I can't remember the last time Isharpened mine - the last time I had work done on my skis, it was with a hacksaw and a hammer.) Otherwise, you'll need your rock-skis and boards for the backcountry.

Southern and central Utah will see some decent snowfall out of this system for tonight into Thanksgiving. The north may see an inch or two if they're lucky. Winds should remain in the low to moderate range with 10000' temp in the low twenties. A stronger cold northerly flow follows as the cutoff low heads east, with a brushby possible for Saturday. The ridge rebuilds for the weekend.
