Avalanche Advisory
Advisory: Uintas Area Mountains Issued by Craig Gordon for Monday - September 26, 2016 - 8:12am
special announcement

Friday nights storm favored the eastern front with a nice coat of white paint, blanketing the Uinta's with 12"-16" of fresh snow. Our main-man in the Uinta's, Ted Scroggin, captured the spirit of this early season storm in the images above. Not quite enough snow to get winter rolling just yet, but there's probably a few rock-free, grassy meadows to visit, take the sled or boards out for a spin and get back in touch with your inner-winter self. While the weather is trying to make up its mind we've got some great events coming up in October and November that'll get you in tune with the upcoming winter.

The annual Boondockers premiere at Brewvies Cinema is just around the corner. This year we are offering two showings... at 6:30 and 8:30.

6:30 show details are found here.

8:30 show details are found here.

In addition, this years Snow and Avalanche Workshop is open to the public and we've got a great lineup on tap. Click here for more info.
