bottom line

The avalanche danger will increase today as higher density snow stacks up along with southwest wind. The danger starts out MODERATE this morning and may reach CONSIDERABLE by this afternoon. The avalanche danger will most likely peak Wednesday and remain dangerous through the week.

We have issued an Avalanche Watch through the National Weather Service for the Manti Skyline and the Fish Lake Area Mountains. This means we are anticipating that the avalanche danger is going to increase as the anticipated storm moves through. We expect dangerous avalanche conditions to last through the week into the weekend.
