Avalanche Advisory
Advisory: Skyline Area Mountains Issued by Brett Kobernik for Wednesday - December 27, 2017 - 7:47am
bottom line

The majority of the terrain along the Skyline has a LOW danger. There is still a MODERATE danger in those north facing slopes above about 9200'. Small human triggered avalanches are possible in that terrain.

current conditions

Much different day yesterday in Ephraim Canyon compared to Fairview Canyon on Christmas. Every meadow we touched was collapsing and cracking in Fairview Canyon. Yesterday in Ephraim Canyon, nothing. Granted the snowpack is a bit different between the two places, things are settling down.
