Avalanche Advisory
Advisory: Skyline Area Mountains Issued by Brett Kobernik for Monday - February 27, 2017 - 6:55am
bottom line

The avalanche danger will be on the rise today due to new snow and plenty of powder from the last storm for the wind to blow into drifts and slabs. The danger may reach CONSIDERABLE along the higher more east facing steep slopes depending on how the wind behaves. Stay out of the wind effected areas and you'll stay out of avalanche danger.

current conditions

Snow conditions on Sunday consisted of excellent powder and a mostly stable snowpack. There was just a hint of cracking along the highest ridgelines where wind was drifting a little snow. Things will be a little different today compared to Sunday's excellent riding conditions and very manageable avalanche danger. The powder from the last storm plus new snow expected today will get drifted by anticipated strong wind this morning.
