Avalanche Advisory
Advisory: Skyline Area Mountains Issued by Brett Kobernik for Wednesday - November 18, 2015 - 9:04am
bottom line

Avalanche conditions along the Skyline are unknown at this time. Anticipate the chance of human triggered avalanches in terrain above 9000 feet. We will be doing some field work this week and will update this advisory on Saturday.

current conditions

We don't have very much information about the current snowpack. The recent storm has added 6 to 12 inches or more of snow above 9000 feet. Increasing north winds are most likely drifting this snow around which is probably forming some sensitive drifts. This new snow may be landing on weaker snow near the ground which would make things more sensitive and increase the avalanche danger.
