Salt Lake Avalanche Advisory

Forecaster: Brett Kobernik

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

We are gearing up to start issuing avalanche advisories as well as other avalanche related content. The avalanche advisories will be issued intermittently as conditions dictate. We will have information available for each upcoming storm. A storm system is likely to affect our area mid week and could produce snow in the mountains. We will put out avalanche advisories as needed with the first one Tuesday morning.

This information does not apply to developed ski areas or highways where avalanche control is normally done.  This advisory is from the U.S.D.A. Forest Service, which is solely responsible for its content. This advisory describes general avalanche conditions and local variations always occur.
