advisories around the first of November or when there is sufficient snow
cover. In the mean time, you can monitor
the mountain conditions by looking at the automated weather stations on the
Internet. The Collins station is
currently operating. Also check out the
National Weather Service web site for other weather forecasting products (http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/slc/).
Another
project we are working on is seasonal weather history charts for the web. Check it out HERE. We will start these charts in November.
