Avalanche Advisory
Advisory: Moab Area Mountains Issued by Eric Trenbeath for Wednesday - March 15, 2017 - 7:27am
bottom line

With the lack of a solid overnight re-freeze, the danger for loose, wet avalanches is MODERATE today. Get in early and get out early if you are in the mountains today. Look for signs of instability such as roller balls, pinwheels, or sloppy wet snow, and stay off of and out from under steep slopes when these signs are present.

It's very warm this morning with Geyser Pass Trailhead reporting 39 degrees and 33 on Pre Laurel Peak. Any re-freeze that occurred last night will be superficial, and the snow will quickly become wet and sloppy under today's forecasted record breaking temperatures.
