SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

This advisory will be updated on Tuesday morning, after a field day on Monday. Please refer back to expired advisories for avalanche information or look under the "current conditions"tab on the left column.

The Abajo and La Sal Mountains have been under light snow conditions for over four days. Snow accumulations of over a foot have occurred in the past seven days. New snow and wind events will increase the avalanche danger.


This information does not apply to developed ski areas or highways where avalanche control is normally done.  This advisory is from the U.S.D.A. Forest Service, which is solely responsible for its content. This advisory describes general avalanche conditions and local variations always occur.
