The Utah Avalanche Center Moab is up and running for the season and we will begin issuing weekend advisories for the Abajo/Blue Mountains on the 21 of November.

The season is off to an early start with a significant storm last week bringing up to 2' of snow to the mountains. Another storm is on track for this week, and dangerous avalanche conditions may exist. Backcountry travelers are advised to use caution and look to the La Sal Mountain forecast for an approximate danger rating.
