Powder
Damp
Snow Characteristics Comments:

Found a bit less than a foot of nice settled powder at upper elevations, and it stayed nice on north and northwest facing slopes until around 1300, when it started to get moist and sticky except in shady forested areas.   The now fairly shallow recent snow was damp in the sun, but actually fast and smooth on an upper elevation southeast facing slope on our exit at around 1400.  We found a couple inches of somewhat sticky and soft snow from last week capping a smooth and supportable base at mid elevations in upper Franklin Basin on our way out.

Sorry about the smudge and the creaking sounds in the video, I'm still just learning how to use the GoPro....
