Snowbird Backcountry Guides (SBG) provides premier avalanche education with access to world-class amenities, terrain and top-quality instructors. Utilizing the resort’s infrastructure, students are able to focus on course objectives thanks to comfortable conference space and state-of-the-art audio visual support. One major advantage to SBG’s avalanche education program is the ease of access to high-alpine terrain via chairlifts and the Aerial Tram; this saves time during the course, allowing for more efficient use of field time. In addition to the resort’s infrastructure and unparalleled access, SBG’s program provides instruction by highly trained and experienced instructors, all of which are active professional rescuers, snow safety personnel, ski patrollers and guides.
