The 10th Annual Utah Snow and Avalanche Workshop is a snow and avalanche focused workshop to share first hand avalanche knowledge. Regional avalanche workshops are the most time and cost effective way to build and refresh advanced avalanche skills available. On Thursday night you will be treated to three hours of video, slides and stories helping you to understand avalanche characteristics, snowpack fundamentals, clues to instability, terrain assessment, safe travel techniques and most importantly companion rescue techniques. Along with this, you will learn how to interface with, understand and apply the current avalanche advisory.
