Slide triggered just outside of Bonanza lift at Pcmr. Skier was attempting to ski a steep (35 degree) tailings pile just outside of resort boundaries. A ski cut was performed and the slope immediately avalanched. The skier was not carried. Upon further investigation, there was intense cracking in the snow.
