Comments

Walking again down the ridge we heard a big collapse and watched yet another avalanche. This avalanche was roughly 18" deep and 150' wide running all the way to the flats. The weak layer appeared to be faceted snow. I was unable to do a crown profile or dig a pit due to weather and slope steepness.

The red line in the photo indicates the dimensions of the avalanche.
