Took pictures of a couple large fresh natural wet avalanches today in the Wellsvilles. I don't know when the cornice fall triggered slides occurred, maybe in today's strong midmorning sun. A string of nights lacking a good freeze and very warm daytime temperatures means dangerous wet avalanche conditions on the sustained steep and very sunny slopes on the east side of the Wellsville Range.

We need a good overnight refreeze....
