Comments
Repeat of the Rocky Point avalanche between A-frame and B-frame from December 26th, only smaller. Today's avalanche was 70 feet wide in the starting zone propagating further to about 100 feet at its widest under the cliffs and traveling 350 feet to where the skin track usually begins. The avalanche ran on facets at the ground, 4 feet at its deepest, and was triggered by an intentionally dropped cornice. Included are pictures of the starting zone and the right flank.
