Comments
The start zone was loading rapidly due to wind, and the slab appeared to have failed on 1mm facets. There were several step-downs into depth hoar along the path exposing bare ground. The debris pile was approximately 400' long, over ten feet deep and contained many snapped trees up to 6" dbh.
