Comments
Walking up Pink Pine ridge we noticed that fresh drifts cracked easily. Stomping wind-deposited snow, we were able to initiate soft slab avalanches that increased in size, depth and energy as we traveled above increasingly steeper and more wind-loaded terrain. The following photos are of one of these intentionally triggered avalanches.
Comments
New snow was on the move today.
