The avalanche danger is LOW at this time. Anticipate the danger to increase mid week if the next storm produces much new snow.

Weather and Snow

The snowpack has been settling with overall depths of 10 to 15" in the 9000 to 10000' range. We do not have much information on the current snowpack. With the thin snowcover, it is difficult to get into areas where a person could trigger an avalanche. Also, the avalanche danger has been decreasing since the last storm.
