Thanks to everyone who turned out for the KBYG class on Thursday night. Good to see that in spite of the slow start to the season people are still stoked to improve their avalanche awareness skills!

We got a surprise 2" of snow at the Trailhead on Wednesday night. It's the first measurable precipitation in over a month. The new snow fell on bare ground and is already going fast. The bright spot in all this is that we don't have any weak, sugary, faceted snow on the ground, so when snow finally comes we will be in pretty good shape.
