Pit was located in Stupid Chute in Wolverine Cirque.  As expected, this location had a deep and mostly stable lower snowpack.  The bottom of our pit was almost ice like.  We did find easy shears in the upper 10 cms where wind transported snow was being blown onto lower density snow from late in the week.

The smaller profile is from the south aspect of Mt. Millicent.  Here we found a crust sandwich.  The crust was not strong enough to fully support the weight of a skier.
