route brighton, lakes pass and back.

Snow is gaining strength. The slab of settled snow over the facets take quite a bit of thumping to get it to move.

south and west facing now have sun crusts on them, turning the safest skiing into not so great.

I'm interested to see how the snowpack will reacte to another load of snow. Near surface facets will likely cause new snow avalanches.
